Building with Lace by Michelle Hunter is a carefully designed sequence of patterns that introduce knitters to lace work in many of its various forms. This work follows the same format as both of Michelle's earlier books, Building Blocks and Building in Color.  Though it can be considered a "graduate course" for those who have gone through her earlier books, it can also be used as a stand-alone series of patterns that result in a beautiful finished lace wrap. All patterns are supported with Michelle's excellent, and free, online video instruction. As with her earlier books, Building with Lace has an accompanying Teacher's Manual to assist those wishing to teach these techniques in a classroom setting.
